Owners of Toyota Corolla in the E21 body often face an annoying problem: the side plastic linings (jabot corners) at the base of the windshield are easily lost in car washes, blown off at high speeds, or broken in the hands of craftsmen when replacing the windshield. Finding this small original part separately from the entire frill panel can be difficult, and delivery times force you to drive with a gaping hole where fallen leaves and water get clogged. This 3D model was created to quickly and aesthetically solve the problem. This is an exact digital replica of the original part, engineered to include all factory latches and guides. The file is completely ready for loading into the slicer and guarantees a tight “click” fit without gaps along the contour of the windshield. ⚠️ Please note: This is a digital item (3D printable file) and not a physical plastic part. Advantages of our 3D model: Precise geometry: Dimensions are adjusted to the original Corolla E21 body, which ensures a perfect fit of the seal. Workflow Optimization: The model is tested to be free of mesh errors and is perfectly suited for fast printing on modern CoreXY kinematics. Time saving: Download the file and start production in your workshop in a couple of minutes. ⚙️ Recommendations for 3D printing: Material: The part is constantly exposed to the scorching sun, rain and snow. It is strongly recommended to use ASA (best UV protection) or ABS. Using PLA or PETG will cause the part to deform in the first summer. Durability Settings: * Infill: 40-50% (Gyroid). Perimeters (Walls): 4-5 lines for maximum rigidity of mounting clips. Supports: Required under latches. If you use printers with automatic plastic change systems (like AMS), a great solution is to use specialized support filament for perfectly smooth overhangs and footprints. Shrinkage: When printing ABS/ASA, take into account the standard shrinkage of your plastic (if necessary, scale the model by 0.5-1% in the slicer).
