The interior plastic of the ninth generation Toyota Corolla (E120/E130 body) becomes brittle over time, and the fastenings of the dashboard frames and air deflectors often break during dismantling or due to vibrations. Buying used parts does not always solve the problem, since they are in a similar “tired” state.
This 3D model is a highly accurate digital solution to restore the aesthetics of your salon. The model includes the main frame of the instrument cluster and integrated seats for ventilation grilles. All latches and guides are engineered to factory tolerances to ensure a tight fit without squeaks or gaps.
⚠️ Please note: This is a digital product (STL/STEP files) for 3D printing. You get the opportunity to make the part yourself by choosing the material that best suits the texture of your interior.
Advantages of this model:
High accuracy: The model completely repeats the geometry of the original Corolla E120 console.
Durability: Unlike old factory plastic, you can print a part from modern wear-resistant materials.
Flexibility: The model is suitable both for restoring the original look and for creating a custom interior (for example, for painting or water print).
⚙️ Recommendations for 3D printing:
Material: The interior of the car is subject to strong heating in the sun (especially the upper part of the dashboard). We strongly recommend using ABS or ASA. These materials have the necessary heat resistance (up to 90-100°C) and are perfectly amenable to post-processing (grinding, painting). The use of PLA or PETG is not recommended - the part may become deformed in the summer.
Infill: 25-40% (Gyroid recommended for uniform stiffness).
Layer height: 0.16–0.2 mm. For faceplates, it is better to use a lower layer height to minimize stair-stepping on curves.
Supports: Mandatory for internal latches and overhanging frame elements. Using Tree supports will make them easier to remove and keep the surface clean.
