The bumper grille with a characteristic honeycomb pattern on the Skoda Octavia A5 RS (restyling) gives the car an aggressive, sporty look, but its elements often suffer from stones on the highway, winter snowdrifts or minor accidents. Buying a new grille assembly is an expensive proposition, and finding a separate segment at a disassembly site is almost impossible. This highly accurate 3D model of a single grille element is designed for quick and cost-effective bumper repairs. The model is designed with the utmost attention to detail: the texture and geometry are designed so that the finished part is exactly as shown in the original picture of the original factory grille. The front surface turns out to be absolutely smooth and uniform, without unnecessary artifacts and angularities, which allows the part to blend perfectly with the rest of the plastic of the bumper. ⚠️ Please note: This is a digital product (3D printing files). Advantages of our 3D model: Perfect match: Cell dimensions, inclination angles and fastening elements (if provided in the segment) are adjusted to the millimeter. Ease of working with files: In the downloaded archive, all files are structured and have clear names based on the name of the part itself and search queries, without confusing numeric IDs. You will immediately understand what you are sending for printing. Savings: Printing a damaged element from durable plastic is tens of times cheaper than buying a new grille. ⚙️ Recommendations for 3D printing: Material: The part is installed in the front bumper, so resistance to impact, chemicals and ultraviolet radiation is critical. Use only ASA, ABS or impact resistant nylon (PA). PLA and regular PETG will not withstand the operating conditions on the front of a car. Infill: At least 40-60% to ensure the strength of the honeycomb when exposed to fine gravel. Nozzle and layers: Nozzle 0.4 mm, layer height 0.16 – 0.2 mm for smooth walls. Post-processing: When printing from ABS/ASA, the part can be lightly processed in an acetone bath to give it the factory matte or glossy shine (depending on the configuration of your car).
