Most LED light bulbs have built-in fans and require some space for ventilation. Unfortunately, installing H7 LED bulbs in the Opel Corsa D proved awkward, as the stock rear headlight covers did not provide any room for ventilation.

I designed new rear caps that use a 40mm fan cap with a filter to keep the bulbs cool and prevent dust from entering the headlight. It’s a tight fit, and since different manufacturers make headlights for the Corsa, slight variations in dimensions may mean the 3D printed rear covers might not fit.

Below is a list of some budget H7 LED light bulbs (maximum price per pair 15 euros):

  • NOVSIGHT-NIGHTEYE: High quality, but not suitable.
  • S2: Too long in front, retracts the reflector. Short service life (not recommended).
  • H9 Fanless Bulbs: Easy to install, but poor quality and low brightness.
  • C6: Nice cool white and quite bright, but too long and pushes out the reflector. Decent quality.
  • Auxito C7: A bit pricey but fits perfectly and is very bright! (highly recommended).

I’ve also included STL files of the back covers without holes to protect the fan, in case you’ve lost the stock back cover or it’s broken.
