Converting US-spec Fiat 500 taillights to the European version is a popular modification. The lights can be quite expensive, but the center panels sell for about $150, which seems excessive.
The second generation panel consists of two parts:
- Base with embossed Abarth Scorpion logo
- Overlay for added strength
Glue the two pieces together to create a stronger panel. Attach the panel to the taillights using several pieces of double-sided tape. I recommend 3-M automotive finishing tape. I printed the trim in warm white E-Sun, closely matching my car's body color. I printed the scorpion logo in E-Sun fire engine red to match my car's red accent pieces. Choose your own colors. I printed the overlay panels on a textured sheet for a beautiful surface.
