When upgrading to a higher flow pump (e.g. Walbro, TRE, etc.) or replacing an expensive stock pump with cheaper alternatives, you will likely need a spacer to adapt the stock pump holder to smaller diameter universal pumps and position it correctly.

You can find machined aluminum parts online, but they are often expensive. 3D printing is the solution! This bushing should work on E36 and E38, but I can only confirm its compatibility with E34.

As the part will be immersed in gasoline, do not use ABS or PLA! I printed mine using Taulman 618 Nylon at 245C/70C on an MBI 2X with good results. Support is not required due to low overhang angles.

The only difference between version 1 and version 2 is the perimeter notch at the bottom designed to hold the stainless steel clamp if you are concerned about its reliability without it.
