Important: Older versions of motorcycles have different headlight housings than newer models. There are two different models of covers, so check which one fits your version by comparing with the original covers.

OLD VERSION (MODEL A): The original cover has 4 locks at the base, and the rubber seal is easy to remove from the cover.
NEW VERSION (MODEL B): The original lid only has 3 locks at the base, the seal is glued to the lid, and there is a wide bar on top.

I purchased an H7 LED bulb for my BMW F800R, but it has a large radiator at the back which prevents it from fitting into the original headlight housing. After some searching, I found that this bulb is quite good, offers better visibility than traditional H7s, and is fast enough to be used as a high beam flash. They can be easily found online for around 25 euros per pair.

LED UPGRADES: The price of these LEDs has decreased over time, and they can now be found for less than €20 a pair. Some LED versions do not have a heatsink on the back, but instead have a square box on the wires—these will not work with these covers.
