Upgrading the door speaker mount using 3D printing.

Most E30s already have tweeter wiring installed, with wires running from behind the door panel into the footwell behind the main speakers.

Printed in black ABS plastic, the model can be difficult to print due to potential warping. PLA can also be used, but it may melt in higher temperatures.

No mounting pins are present on the back like the original trim. Installation can be done by snapping off the pins from the old trim and gluing them onto the printed part or by directly gluing the printed part to the door.

The 42mm hole fits Alpine DDT-S30 speakers, while the 34mm hole fits Ground Zero GZHT 19x speakers.

Please measure your tweeters and select the appropriate .stl file, as the size in the file name corresponds to the inside diameter of the tweeter hole. .step files for each part and a SolidWorks file are also available for your modifications.
