This tool is designed for use on BMW F650GS, F650GS Dakar and G650X single cylinder motorcycles from 2000 to 2007.

The BMW factory service manual mentions a drain tool (BMW part number 11 7 511) which is used to direct the oil from the oil filter to the drain pan rather than allowing it to run down the crankcase and create a huge mess.

This instrument is an exact replica of the tool I imagine it to be. I'm not sure if BMW ever sold this tool or if anyone bothered to buy it. However, I developed this option after I lost a cut-up soda can that I was using as a drain guide.

Note: Do not clean it with BrakeKleen as it is primarily made of acetone, which dissolves PLA very well, potentially melting the material.
