This kit is designed for the 5-speed manual transmission used with 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engines. These parts may fit older or newer manual transmissions from Hyundai and possibly Kia. Some designs have been licensed from Mitsubishi and used on other models.
Parts are intended for installation in a 2003 Hyundai Accent. They may fit the standard Accent manual transmission, but compatibility cannot be confirmed as the transition was from an automatic transmission.
The bushings are a replacement for standard semi-hollow rubber bushings and are designed to provide more precise and less 'smooth' shifting by eliminating play in the factory bushings. Aluminum, brass, and urethane bushings for this car are available for $30-$40, which may seem high.
