The restrictor plate for the intake air control valve is designed for Hyundai Coupe/Tiburon 2.0L and 2.7L V6 (2003-2008). It offers the following benefits:
- Prevents RPM stalling
- Improved shift quality
- More aggressive idle
- Better throttle response
- Enhanced acceleration from low speeds/RPM
The plate keeps the valve wide open, while the holes regulate the idle speed. This allows the ECU to operate more consistently, creating greater vacuum in the intake manifold and improving throttle response. It also stabilizes idle and allows for quicker RPM drop for sharper shifts when the throttle is opened.
It is recommended to use heat-resistant filament such as ABS or PETG, and ensure you scale the model correctly before printing.
