The Sonata has a small rubber pad on the brake stop. This rubber trim activates the rear brake lights. Over time, the pad wears out, and the rear brake lights do not work. Replacement costs $15.
It was installed in a personal car several years ago and is still functioning.
Blame Thingiverse for the misspelling of the title; it is corrected in detail but not reflected.
