Hyundai 2024+ Key Fob Base

This key fob base replaces the original Hyundai 2024+ key fob housing.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Carefully separate the OEM key fob and remove the silicone cover and then the PCB assembly.
2. Insert the side trunk button from the inside of the body base so that it passes through the side hole with the narrow part inward.
3. Gently insert the PCB, then place the silicone cover on top of the PCB. The edges of the silicone cover should fit completely between the trunk side button and the mounting plate (THE SILICONE COVER PROVIDES THE SPRING).
4. Position the top buttons and align them across the bottom of the cover so that each button post rests in the rectangular recess of the silicone case.
5. Use m2 or similar size screws to secure the cover to the base.

This base is printed in ABS and the buttons are painted. However, if you have the option, you could print some strands and fill in the button logos.

The LIDV2 uses integrated button covers with a layer of buttons between the cover and a silicone PCB cover inside. The 7-button housing is under development and has not been tested. The length of the side button shaft will need to be adjusted. The buttons file contains all the buttons of cover v1. If you want to use LIDV2 with a 7-button base, you only need to use the side buttons from the buttons STL file. You will need to add a 0.5mm perimeter around the top of the 7-button base to leave enough clearance between the v2 cap and the button layer, OR you will need to adjust the button layer and remove 0.5mm from each leg of the button layer. If you don't trim the button layer, it will press against the PCB buttons when the cover is tightened.
