This is a 3D printed boost leak tester designed to work with the Takeda Turbo intake hose on the Hyundai Veloster N. The main body has a diameter of 3 inches.

You will need the following components:

  • A pressure gauge to measure the pressure.
  • An air valve for the tire (5/16″ hole) secured by a rubber seal and nut on the back.

Note that the attached .stl file has been modified based on my experience. The main body is shortened by one inch as it was originally too long. I also moved the air valve hole to avoid interference with the interior wall.

Warning: Compressed air can be dangerous. Use this product at your own risk. I am not responsible for any injuries caused.

I printed my tool using ESun PLA+, but recommend printing it in ABS or a stronger material. I used the tool at 10 PSI to locate the leak. The print settings were 0.3 mm layer height with 6 walls and 3 mm top/bottom layers at 15% infill.
