This mechanism is designed for the A/C Blend Door in Hyundai i20, model years 2010-2015.
A common problem in vehicles with an electric HVAC system is the clicking sound when changing climate control settings, usually due to a broken gear inside the mixing doors. Instead of replacing the entire component, you can simply replace the damaged mechanism.
You need to:
- Remove all clips around the part;
- Locate the broken gear;
- Install the new 3D printed replacement.
It's recommended to use ABS if PETG is not available for thermal safety, as the interior of the car can get very hot. This part should not soften.
Be sure to print it evenly and at low speed to ensure good quality.
