3D printed housing for the Hyundai 2024+ OEM remote control. This design features an integrated physical key slot at the base of the case. It is smaller than the OEM egg-shaped remote and offers enhanced durability and customization options depending on the filament used. ABS was used for the construction, but other materials are also suitable.
- Print in the orientation shown in the attached image.
- Supports were used for the base, but are not needed for the key socket.
- M2 screws were used to secure the cover to the base.
- A rubber balloon was used to insert the PCB to protect it from moisture and dirt.
- Install the trunk button before mounting the circuit board.
- Careful and firm pressure is required to insert the circuit board into the base.
- If the base shrinks, trimming or enlarging the base may be necessary for the PCB to fit properly.
- Do not force the PCB into the base if it is too small.
