This cover protects the front struts of the 1st generation Nissan Leaf from water and rust. Use this cover to shield against rain. However, you still need to apply rust protection to the nut before using this cap - do not rely solely on the cap.

Print two caps, one for each side. The water issue is mainly related to the driver's side wiper hole, but you can do both sides.

The cap has a flat top with a 5-degree slope, making it easy to print without spilling water. No coasters needed (i.e., minimal plastic waste).

I used PLA as it is the least harmful to the environment. I am unsure how long it will last in this situation, but I suspect it will last long enough. This model was made using Tinkercad.
