Adapter Plate for Electric Motor

This is an adapter plate to connect an electric motor (specifically an Advanced DC FB1-4001 9.1" Series wound motor) to a Honda B-Series transmission. This allows installation of the electric motor in an Acura Integra, older Honda Civic SI, and certain Civic Del Sol models.

Instructions:

• For installation in a Honda CRX, use motor mount adapters and custom axles.
• Ensure that the spacer between the motor and the adapter plate has the correct length to avoid interference with the flywheel ring gear.
• If bolt holes are oversized, it may be necessary to enlarge them, as Honda bolts can sometimes have a larger shoulder.
• Some threaded holes may require adjustment.
• Check that the alignment of the input shaft on the motor shaft is correct.

Printing Settings: The final thickness of the plate is about 1.25". This might be a bit overkill, but for high-power applications, a thinner plate and a thicker spacer can be used to save on weight and aluminum.
