This is a 3D model of a Honda key fob created in two colors. Below are the printing instructions:
- Software: Model was drawn in AutoCAD and sliced with Slic3r on Repetier Host.
- Printer: Printed on Printrbot Simple Metal.
- Materials: Used Printrbot White and Blue PLA at 208 degrees.
- Print Settings: Modified settings: top and bottom layer thickness changed from 3 to 5 mm, infill increased from 20% to 40%.
Instructions for Multi-Color Printing:
- Print the base in any color you like.
- Print 1 or 2 layers of the H logo, then pause the print.
- Quickly use manual control to raise the Z-axis about 40 mm to prevent the hot end from touching the part.
- Quickly swap filament colors in the extruder.
- Click continue printing. It will print great in about 24 minutes each.
