This is a replacement for Honda part 46505-SA5-000 (aftermarket part Dorman 74015), which often breaks on older vehicles. This piece is what the brake switch presses on when the pedal is released. If your brake lights aren't turning off, there's a good chance this piece has broken and needs to be replaced. Note that I believe this part may also work on the clutch side, but I haven't personally checked. Installation:

Press the pedal completely to the floor.
Align the part with the installation hole.
Slowly release the pedal. The pressure should snap the piece into place.

Printing settings: I needed to increase the infill to 30% for this part to work, as the first version broke when the brake pedal was released against it.
