Honda Key Housing

This housing is designed for Honda car keys and has been tested on the following models:

• 2007 Honda Civic
• 2009 Honda Civic
• 2nd Gen Honda Fit
• 2014 Honda Odyssey

It should fit all 8th generation Civics made from 2006 to 2011. If you test it on a different model, please let me know.

I created a new design with thicker walls to improve durability during daily use. I recommend the following printing setup:

• The top part is printed flat for better strength.
• The back part is printed standing up to orient layers in a different direction from the key turn torque force.
• I used PETG for printing as it is less brittle compared to ABS.

Printing Settings:

• A screenshot of Cura settings is included.

For assembly, I used M2.5 x 20 mm bolts. Make sure to cut the ends of the bolts flush with the back. I included nut traps at the bottom for added stability without screws.

Also, I hot glued the key into the housing for additional support. Hope you find this useful!
