This is a replica of the HONDA SHADOW VT125, consisting of 148 parts. Don't worry, I have prepared an assembly instruction with 70 slides to guide you smoothly through the assembly process.
There is also a video below showing the design and assembly process. Note: you will need to buy four springs at a DIY store (they are not printed). Two smaller springs are used inside the legs and two bigger springs for dampers. You can find more details in the assembly instruction.
Please note that the assembly instruction was created after the video, so the assembly order in the video may not match the instruction. Please follow the instruction, it is more convenient. The model scale has been set to 1:4 for printing all parts on 20x20cm build plate printers. The model is quite large, so if you decide to make it, consider where to place it on your shelf.
Designing the model took 2.5 months, printing took over 200 hours. Preparing the assembly instruction (70 pages) took several evenings. While I provide the model for free, I would appreciate a small fee through my PayPal (@tobajer) if you think it’s worth it.
