The Land Rover entered production with the Series I, originally designed for agricultural and light industrial use. It features a steel chassis and an aluminum body.
This 3D model is based on the original 1959 Moko Lesney Matchbox toy, Land Rover with an 86-inch wheelbase (SWB). A longer wheelbase (107 inches) was also available.
There are two versions of the short-wheelbase body: one with a driver and one without.
Printing Instructions:
- Use 3 mm filament for axles, glued in place and trimmed flush with the body.
- Tyres should be drilled with a 1/8-inch drill bit before fitting.
- Melt the end of the filament to create a 'peened' end.
- Use super glue for attaching spare tyres.
The windscreen can be fixed vertically or horizontally, depending on your preference.
