A latch designed for tube doors suitable for Jeep Wrangler (TJ) or similar projects like gates. This model allows for push-to-close functionality without pressing a button.

You will need:

a small spring for the internal mechanism (available at Harbor Freight);
a couple of 4-40 screws or equivalent metric screws;
one 1/4-20 screw for the center pivot.

Holes are small enough for drilling and tapping. Do not rely on these latches to keep doors closed during rollover or off-roading events. Always wear a seat belt.

The mount is included but was not used; I replaced it with a welded plate with matching holes. If you are fabricating similar tube doors, I am sure you can find a better mounting method.
