This is a gear linkage bush for the Wrangler. It may also fit Cherokee, Liberty, and other Jeep models as most share similar components. Dealerships charge $70 for one with a two-week wait time.
Instead of using low-quality plastic, the better solution is to drill out the pin and replace it with a nut and bolt, though this requires disassembling the selector arm.
My design improves on the original by including a handle/hole for a zip tie to keep it in position and prevent it from dropping out. Print with 100% infill to ensure durability. It's useful to keep spare bushes in the glove box to assist other owners who may break down on the side of the road.
Instructions:
- Print with 100% infill.
- If necessary, ream out the hole using a file or drill if your pin isn't as worn.
