Mount for Hazard Flashing Lights on Search and Rescue Jeep

This mount fits the Ultra Slim 12-LED Surface Mount Grille Flashing Strobe Lights. You will need:

• M3 and M4 bolts
• A random screw for the rear mount to the plastic bumper

The mount also includes an alignment piece to hold up against the front fenders, helping to determine where to drill holes. The label on the alignment piece marked 'inside part' indicates the end that should face inward when printed in its entirety.

Printing recommendations: I printed at .2 layer height using Raptor from MakerGeek, and the threads hold up well. Use M4 for the mount to the jeep and M3 for the bolts fastening the lights. If you use a different material, I suggest adding an extra shell.

For post-processing, I ran out of black filament, so I used gray and sprayed them with matte black spray paint. After installation, I applied sealant around the light housing edge to prevent water ingress, which can cause shorts. Always take precautions.
