This is a model of the Chrysler 5012685AA part used for securing the ball joints on the rear headlights of the Jeep Grand Cherokee (1999-2004). These parts help the headlight stay in place while working with the angle adjustment screw.
There are three parts on each side, and printing all three worked well. However, I initially anticipated more shrinkage than I experienced. I recommend printing slightly smaller, perhaps 1-2% smaller.
The main question I have now is whether printing these parts in PLA will cause them to deform due to engine and environmental heat.
Printing Settings:
- Try printing 1-2% smaller (if necessary)
- Use PLA for printing
