This USB port is designed for installation in a 3rd Generation Dodge Ram 3500 with an aftermarket stereo. The port is hardwired to the back of the stereo and fits certain single DIN and double DIN models.

Instructions:

Replace a broken 12V port with this 3D print.
Tolerances are fairly tight — as long as there isn’t significant stress pulling on it, the port will stay firmly in place with a press fit into the console.
The USB port will slide in snugly and stay in place without glue. If it is too loose, a dab of hot glue on the back will secure it easily without much hassle to remove.
The back end is long enough to encase a length of cable to prevent bending of the wire.
Recommended to use black or gray ABS/ASA for a more factory look and better heat resistance.
