Mounting L-bars designed for installing a 2DIN-sized car stereo unit in Kia Cerato LD/TD (1st generation), also known as Spectra5. It may also fit some other Kia / Hyundai car models.
The mounting is intended for a Chinese Android-based head unit that features a "brim" slightly larger than the face panel. The dimensions are chosen to keep the "brim" behind the car console while allowing the front panel to stick out. Therefore, it may not accommodate head units of other sizes.
Material recommendations for printing:
- PLA is not suitable as it can easily deform under heat.
- PETG is good and strong enough.
The frame shown in the final photo is a separate element.
