Kia has released a kit to fix the rattle in the trunk. It consists of a thicker felt pad and a set of washers to be placed under the bumper guides. This kit is not available outside the US, so I created a workaround.
Installation Instructions:
- Carefully remove the old foam pad for reuse.
- Insert the new piece into place.
- Reinstall the old felt pad and bolt it back up.
For longevity, I recommend using PETG, as it can get quite warm.
