A "Start/Stop engine button" kit has been installed in place of the key cylinder. To retain immobilizer capability, this "extender" was designed.

The hole in the coil fits my Mitsubishi transponder key.
The frame over the coil fits my car's panel dummy cap dimensions.
The coil is electrically connected to a wire wrapped around the genuine Mitsubishi immo coil located on top of the key cylinder.

I have tested this extender, and it works great!
