This 3D model of the keyless ignition insert base plate is designed to fit the 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer and other compatible versions. Supported models include Lancer 2007-2017 and Outlander 2007-2013. Printing does not require special settings, and the model has been made thicker than the original part to enhance strength.
The original factory piece lasted 4 years, while my last 3D design, which mimicked the original, lasted 8 years. This is my latest attempt, which I hope will be of higher quality. The printing process takes 30 minutes or less depending on the quality of the replacement.
Instructions:
- Measure using calipers.
- The model was designed in Solidworks.
- Printed on an Ender 5 Pro using Cura for slicing.
- Deburr the plastic where necessary after printing.
