3D Bonsai Planter Model

We designed a beautiful and useful planter for your bonsai. This 3D model is available for download. The photos show the planter printed at 200% scale. You can also print it larger as the plant grows.

There are two versions of the model: a shelled model and a solid model. For printing the solid model, set the infill to 0% and cut out the top part or stop the print before it finishes. The shelled model prints well at full scale and 2x scale, but may be too thin at half scale.

Depending on your printer, support may or may not be required. This model was printed on a gMax printer without support, but keep in mind that overhangs are over 80 degrees. The base has no drain holes, which you might want to add.

Don't forget to scale the model down based on your slicer software. For instance, it loads correctly in slic3r 1.1.6.
