This project features fully parametrized 3D models of holders for cylindrical battery cells of various sizes and numbers. The main objective was to create holders that securely retain batteries without using a metallic spring. Instead, a flexible printed structure is implemented to press the battery contacts firmly.
Features:
- Holders are compatible with AA, AAA, 18650 (Li-Ion) and other types of cells.
- Each compartment includes multiple holes for easy wire connections for parallel and serial setups.
- ABS is recommended for printing and insulating the connector contacts.
Printing Instructions:
- Models are printed with a layer height of 0.25 mm and extrusion width of 0.56 mm.
- Adjust parameters in the SCAD file for optimal spring strength if necessary.
