PHIL is a fully printable universal filament holder designed to support a variety of filament spools through its unique construction.
To set up PHIL, follow these guidelines:
- Position two PHIL holders to accommodate any size spool.
- Add stick-on rubber feet to the bottom of PHIL to prevent slipping.
- You can use 3M Command Strips for more secure attachment if needed.
- Mounting holes for screws are provided on the bottom of PHIL for a more permanent installation.
Printing settings: For a two-tone PHIL, switch filaments at the following layer heights:
- 0-3 mm - black
- 3-10 mm - red
- 10-13 mm - black
- 13-End - red
After printing, snap all parts together and fill PHIL with filament.
