This frame was inspired by the FireFlo V2 and Alpine Drones Micro H. The main goal was to make it crash-resistant, lightweight, and provide good protection for onboard equipment.

Dimensions: approximately 105mm in length. The V1 frame weighs around 10g, while the V2 frame weighs about 8g when printed in PLA. My full build (currently V2 base and V1 top) weighs around 38g without the battery.

Build Instructions

  • Flight Controller: You need a flight controller with a receiver that matches your radio.
  • Motors: Hubsan X4 H107c 8.5mm motors.
  • Battery: I use a mix of batteries: 380mAh Hubsan, 500mAh Hubsan, and 300mAh Nano-Techs. Caution: Ensure battery polarity is correct.
  • Props: I’m currently using Ladybird props, which are much more durable than Hubsan props.
  • Nylon Hardware: M3 nylon nuts and machine screws.
  • JST SH Connector: Can be used to connect FPV gear directly to the controller.

FPV Options: You can connect new equipment directly to battery power without needing a voltage regulator. I have tested several cameras and video transmitters with this frame.
