This 3D-printed turtle features a flexible leg design, inspired by my Mini Monster Truck concept, allowing the toy to bounce and scurry when tapped. The head can retract into the shell.
The model assembles easily using printed H-Clips and requires no glue. Parts print without the need for supports. Please consider the following recommendations for optimal results:
- A brim may not be advisable as it can complicate edge cleanup at the print's base.
- Using a raft may also affect the model's performance.
- If you encounter issues with the head sliding, I have uploaded three head files with the stem portion scaled to be narrower:
- Head95.stl - 95% original width
- Head90.stl - 90% original width
- Head85.stl - 85% original width
Printing Settings:
- Extrusion Temperature: 210 °C
- Bed Temperature: 60 °C
- Print Speed: 50 mm/s
