Just a boy and his magic dog companion. I made a gritty realism Jaaaaaaaames Baxter mini a while back and thought I'd like to give these two a shot in a similar style. I'm not the best character artist but I think the results look pretty good. The thinking is that these could be PCs or NPCs in your DND campaign without breaking the immersion too much with the cartoony style. What do you think? Should I make more of these? All the AT characters? These started as AI generated models and then I rigged, posed, sculpted and optimized for printing. I made Finn's backback and sword as separate models too so that they could be reused or re-arranged as needed. The boy is sized at 32mm, I thought 28mm would be better but then I worried that might impact printability on FDM. The dog has variants sized at 28mm and 20mm - since his legs are tiny they could definitely snap so if you run into issues there I would recommend printing them in the "together" version or printing the larger version of the dog. This work is purely fanart of Adventure Time and not for sale. I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next.
