Adapter for Mounting IKEA Skådis in Pax Wardrobe

This 3D model is an adapter designed to mount an IKEA Skådis pegboard inside an IKEA Pax wardrobe. The adapter resolves the issue of mismatched mounting hole spacing, as the holes on the Skådis are approximately 4mm narrower than the standard holes in the Pax cabinet.

Model Construction: The adapter consists of two parts that need to be printed in double.

Required Hardware:

• For the Pax Side: Euro screws (Möbelschrauben) measuring 6.3 x 14.5 mm.
• For the Skådis Side: Use the original screws that came with your Skådis pegboard.

Printing Instructions:

• Material: PLA is suitable, but PETG is recommended for hanging heavy items.
• Infill: Recommended 15% or higher for structural strength.
• Perimeters/Walls: 3 or more walls are recommended to ensure strong screw holes.
• Supports: No supports are needed.

Assembly Guide: Secure the adapters to the Pax walls using the 6.3 x 14.5 mm Euro screws. Attach the Skådis pegboard to the adapters and screw in the original Skådis screws. Happy printing and organizing!
