This model represents a 3D reproduction of the Mercedes DIII engine in 1/5 scale. The model is well-detailed and suited for scale models. Please note the following instructions:
- Weight: The expected weight of the fully printed engine is about 250 grams, which may be too heavy for 1/5 scale models.
- Cylinders: A modified version of just the cylinders has been created, weighing about 100 grams and suitable for most scale replicas.
- Printing: For better print quality, it is recommended to use a lot of infill when printing the crankcase and pan of the engine.
- Exhaust System: The standard exhaust system is not included in the project, as it varies from model to model. If you have details of a specific model, a separate exhaust model can be created.
- Test Print: The test print was done on a Creality Ender 3, with the cylinders divided into groups of three for better print quality.
