Model Description: This model features 1:48 scale representations of the first two variants of the AIM-7 Sparrow: the AAM-N-2 (AIM-7A) Sparrow I with beam riding guidance and the AAM-N-3 Sparrow II (AIM-7B) with active radar homing.

Purpose: The models are intended for collectors, modelers, and aviation enthusiasts, and can be used for dioramas and exhibitions.

Construction Features: The AIM-7A saw limited service with F3D Skyknight and F7U Cutlass squadrons, while the AIM-7B never progressed beyond the prototype stage and was intended to arm the Avro Arrow and various US Navy aircraft.
