DremelFuge - A One-Piece Centrifuge for Rotary Tools

DremelFuge is a printable rotor designed for centrifuging standard microcentrifuge tubes and miniprep columns. This model offers an affordable alternative to traditional centrifuges, which can cost upwards of $500.

It is ideal for use in DIYbio or culinary applications and requires standard 1.5ml/2ml Eppendorf tubes. When used with a drill at 3000 RPM, DremelFuge can deliver over 400g, sufficient for spinning down miniprep samples. At 10,000 RPM, it can achieve over 4400g, more than enough for bacterial cell separation.

The model is available in two versions: Recessed Edition, designed for 5mm diameter holders, and Chuck Edition, which can be quickly adapted for use in any tool with a chuck grip. It is recommended to print with maximum infill for stability.
