Model Description: This design features an inexpensive linear axis mechanism suitable for open-source selective laser sintering 3D printers. It can also be utilized in various applications requiring single or dual-axis systems.

Usage: Ideal for building 3D printers or automation systems where precise linear movement is necessary.

Construction Features: The model boasts a minimal component count, requiring only a few bolts, washers, and nuts. It incorporates strips of Kapton tape as linear slide bushings to reduce friction significantly. The design accommodates 3mm material thickness, with bolt holes specifically designed for 6-32 bolts.

Printing Recommendations: When using acrylic, the holes may need to be tapped. For optimal performance, it is advised to place washers between parts to minimize friction. SVG files for laser cutting the components are also included.
