Loading 3D model...
Model Description: This is an electric motor constructed from a printed circuit board, various 3D printed components, 44 magnets, steel washers, and an array of electronic components for the drive circuitry. The motor achieves a maximum power output of around 600 mW and a no-load speed of approximately 2000 RPM.
Application: Designed for use in building functional electromechanical devices capable of performing useful tasks.
Construction Features: The model includes an open-source script for generating custom coil patterns, allowing export to KiCad and EAGLE formats. This design enables users to fabricate motors using only their 3D printers.
Printing Recommendations: Print two copies of each STL file. Note that the STL file units are in inches. A PCB coil plate is required, and you will need 44 rare earth magnets of 1/4 inch diameter and 1/8 inch length. The motor operates at 9 to 12 volts, with caution advised for overheating during prolonged use.
