Model Overview: This is a compact printable tracked base designed for small robots.
Usage: The model is intended for building mobile robots capable of traversing various surfaces.
Construction Features: The base consists of two independent mirrored halves, each housing a reduction gear and motor. You'll need motors commonly found in CD/DVD drives and 4mm threaded rods for assembly.
Printing Recommendations:
- Use a 0.35 mm nozzle and print with a layer height of 0.25 mm.
- Set the printing temperature to 180°C for infill and 185°C for the first layer.
- Print all parts, as smaller quantities may lead to printing issues due to their small sizes.
- Soft PLA is recommended for tracks, but regular PLA will work as well.
- Use 1.75 mm filament pieces for connecting elements.
