The project began by tracing the silhouette, converting it to SVG, and re-engineering the geometry for additive manufacturing with a focus on:

• Strength: Increased thickness and vertical back plates for stability.
• Balance: Proper load distribution to prevent flexing.
• Functionality: Suitable for use with real books, not just decoration.

The silhouettes remain clean and recognizable even after extrusion, retaining a minimalist aesthetic while significantly improving durability.

Printing Notes:

• PLA is suitable, but PETG or ABS will enhance toughness.
• Increasing wall count or adding higher infill will improve stiffness.
