This model is a DIY stereo microscope built from inexpensive binoculars and mounted on a smartphone arm.

Key specifications:

  • Focal length: 185 mm
  • Field of view: 12 mm

The model is printed in PLA with supports and includes:

  • ArmJoint.stl: the part that attaches to the smartphone arm.
  • ArmJoint_Gear.stl: the pinion gear for focus adjustment.
  • EyeCup.stl: specially designed eyecups to minimize side light.
  • LensExtender.stl: a tube for adjusting the focal distance.
  • LightHolder.stl: a holder for LED lights.

STL files for printing are available. It is recommended to use matte black filament to reduce internal reflections.
