Bracket for Installing 6.5" Speaker in Fiat 500 Door

This is a simple bracket that can be used to install a 6.5" speaker in the door of a Fiat 500. Below are some considerations specific to this installation:

• Standard speakers have rivets that need to be drilled out.
• It is impossible to get behind the speaker without removing the vapor barrier.
• The mount was bolted in place; this installation will require access behind the vapor barrier. Another option I’m considering is installing rivets for easier speaker access by simply removing the door.
• Wires to the speaker go from the front; I didn’t include this in my design.
• Some of the four inner bolts have metal parts.
• Standard speakers in the Fiat are very effective; I wouldn’t recommend replacing them without being prepared to purchase a new amp.
• When installing, I sealed the door to make it look more like a speaker cabinet, but I have already designed a solution to address rattles if I need to change the design.
