This is a cup holder designed for the 1990 BMW 525i. The design consists of two parts:

Lower Section: fits snugly into the center console, preventing tipping.
Upper Part: has a 64mm wide base (approximately the width of a Starbucks cup), tapering to 82mm for a standard coffee mug.

There is a hole on the side for a pen. The two parts fit tightly together, but it is recommended to use glue for a secure connection.

Installation Instructions:

Connect the top and bottom pieces while the base is installed in the console for proper fitting.
Once secured, carefully remove the two pieces and apply drops of super glue to hold them together.
Utilize capillary action to fill the joint with adhesive.

Changes from the original design:

A leg was added to prevent tipping.
The width was slightly increased, and height adjusted for better fitting.
A 5mm high base was added to keep the curved bottom sides of the console from lifting the base.
Top diameter was increased to fit a standard coffee mug.
The bottom diameter increased from 62mm to 64mm for better compatibility.
The taper was increased from 4 to 5.5 degrees for wider cups.

In addition to the two STL files, I have included a Fusion 360 f3d file for design modifications.
