This adapter allows installation of 6.5" speakers into a Kia K5 and likely a Hyundai Sonata, with possible compatibility with other Hyundai/Kia models (no guarantees).

It's specifically sized for Kenwood KFC-651 speakers. You'll need to adapt the opening and screw holes according to your speaker dimensions.

An SVG template is provided for cutting gaskets to fit the front and back of the adapter. I used craft foam sheets and glued them on.

There's also a channel in the back for installing 1/4" sealing tape if desired. The hole in the base is for running wires through.

Having tested various adapters from an online stereo parts store, these are a significant improvement. The speakers sound full, with deep and detailed bass.
